Great hotel with excellent wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a cozy bar/lounge area. The staff once helped me find my lost earring, and another time they provided early breakfast. I can't wait to come back for Easter!

beautiful waterfront location, proximity to bus terminals, lounge with sea views
Inconsistent room conditions require improvement!!! High parking fees can strain your budget!!! Several common areas lack sufficient seating for guests, making it uncomfortable during busy times!!!

The staff were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to assist us. even arranging extra bedding without charge. The location was superb, just a short walk to many attractions, and the dining experience was quite enjoyable. the breakfast, while not the best in Norway, was certainly ample enough to kick off the day!
The noise from the street was a bit bothersome during the night, which could be improved.

The view from the hotel bar is absolutely incredible.
Unfortunately, I faced difficulties during my stay. The bathroom lights are controlled by a motion sensor, which made for an unsettling night as they kept switching on unexpectedly. I had hoped for a more welcoming atmosphere, but the noise levels from other guests were bothersome, especially during meals.

The hotel offers stunning views overlooking the river and mountains from the bar area, a perfect spot to unwind. Room 532 had ample space for three, featuring a foldable bunk that could accommodate an extra guest. Breakfast included diverse options, with all our group enjoying different dishes offered every morning. The staff's hard work truly shines. Peter helped us explore alternatives to Geirangerfjord when our plans faltered, turning a frustrating situation into an amazing outing on Hjorundfjord. However, there were some hiccups. Our room wasn't directly facing the water, more so towards another building. The bathroom shower emitted a strange noise and had no platform for toiletries, making it challenging. Additionally, some lingering dust in the fold-out space of our bed raised cleanliness concerns. Parking fees were also steep at £25 per day, adding to our costs. Despite these issues, I would still recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and supportive staff.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the stunning Art Nouveau center. Plus, the views from the hotel bar and restaurant are absolutely incredible, overlooking the river and snow-capped mountains. The breakfast buffet is also diverse and delicious, offering plenty of options to start the day.
The room had limited wardrobe space and would benefit from more storage options.

good views , but disappointing room
The staff provided exceptional service that made us feel welcome. Breakfast had an ample variety that catered to different tastes. The location was perfect for exploring the city on foot with stunning city views from the bar area.
The room we received was quite disappointing as it faced a wall.

The spacious room featured a comfortable double bed along with useful amenities like a kettle and mini fridge. Breakfast offered a fantastic selection, including fresh fruits and various egg options. However, the parking situation was inconvenient, as it isn't affiliated with the hotel and incurs additional fees. Despite a pleasant atmosphere, my view was disappointing due to a large ship obstructing the scenery. The service, while generally helpful, had issues upon check-in regarding additional charges for a child’s bed.
